Overview
TextPipe — SMS Telegram Forwarder ("the App") forwards incoming SMS messages from your Android device to a Telegram chat via a Cloudflare Worker proxy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your choices.
Data We Collect

What we do NOT collect
- Contacts or call logs
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers
- Any data unrelated to SMS forwarding
How SMS Content Is Handled
When an SMS arrives, the App sends it to a Cloudflare Worker, which relays it to the Telegram Bot API. The full message text passes through the Worker in transit but is not stored long-term. Only a 200-character preview is saved in the forwarding log for troubleshooting purposes.
Telegram Chat IDs
Your Telegram chat ID is stored server-side only (in Cloudflare D1) and is never present in the Android app's local storage.
Infrastructure
All server-side processing runs on Cloudflare Workers with data stored in Cloudflare D1 (Cloudflare's serverless SQL database). Data resides in Cloudflare's global network and is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
In-App Purchase
The App offers a one-time $1 purchase to unlock multi-SIM routing. Purchase state is managed through Google Play Billing. We do not process or store payment information.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Data is only transmitted to:
- Cloudflare Workers — to process and relay the SMS
- Telegram Bot API — to deliver the message to your chat
Android Permissions

The App uses a foreground service to reliably receive SMS while running in the background. This requires the persistent notification.
Your Choices
- Unpair your device from the App to delete your device ID, SIM info, and all associated forwarding logs from our servers.
- Uninstall the App to stop all SMS forwarding immediately.
- Revoke permissions in Android Settings to disable SMS access or notifications at any time.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and will note the new effective date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
